Abdulkarim Baba Rabiu is my name, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. I am the level adviser to 300 level students (2021/2022 academic session). My area of specialization is Thermo-fluids option. I have taught and co-taught courses, which include thermodynamic and heat transfer, fluid mechanics, engineering graphics, refrigeration and air-conditioning, engineering mathematics, among others. My areas of research interests are renewable energy material engineering, biofuel material development and characterisation, and optimization of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. I am currently working on process conditions of a combined torrefaction and pelletisation of tropical wood residues for the development of solid fuel. I am happily married with two children.
