Biography

Segun Emmanuel Ibitoye is a Lecturer I at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Sciences, University of Johannesburg, South Africa.  

He has served as the Departmental Examination Officer, Level Adviser, and Assistance Undergraduate Project Coordinator. His research interests are in renewable energy (biomass), materials characterization, mechanical engineering design, modelling, and simulation.

He has available national and international publications in reputable outlets covering journals, conference proceedings and chapters in books. Segun Emanuel Ibitoye has two (2) patents to his credit. He has won several awards including the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Research Fellowship Award, Olowodola Scholarship Award, and University of Johannesburg Merit Bursary award. He is a registered professional engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
