Biography

LASODE, Olumuyiwa Ajani is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Ilorin. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin (2008). He was the Head of Department from Year 2010 to Year 2012 and was the Dean of the Faculty from Year 2021 to Year2023). His teaching subjects at undergraduate levels include Engineering mathematics, Advanced Thermodynamics, Gas Dynamics and Turbomachinery, and Internal Combustion Engines while at postgraduate level, they are Numerical Analysis an Computations, Experimental Techniques and Measuring Methods, Convective Heat and Mass Transfer, and Fluid Mechanics. His current research is on Renewable Energy Studies (Torrefaction, Pyrolysis, Solar Energy). He has successfully supervised Seven PhDs to completion. He is currently supervising Five Ph.Ds.
